European Lung Foundation

An important aspect of representing patient interests within the DZL is its close connection to the European Lung Foundation (ELF). This patient-led organization, working in partnership with the European Respiratory Society (ERS), operates internationally to bring together patients, the public, and healthcare professionals to improve diagnosis, treatment, and care.

For many years, Dr. Pippa Powell, Director of the ELF, has given patients a strong voice within the DZL through her role as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board.
