Patient Advocacy Board

The Patient Advisory Board acts as a neutral and independent partner in direct contact with the DZL management, supporting patients and their families in quickly directing concerns and questions to the appropriate channels. The DZL Board appoints individuals from each of the DZL disease areas to the Patient Advisory Board, who are committed to advocating for the interests of those affected. The Patient Advisory Board is available to assist DZL researchers, if needed, in planning clinical, patient-related research projects.

The inaugural meeting of the Patient Advisory Board with the DZL Board and other DZL representatives took place in April 2025.
