To the programs of DZL Academy
Held every two months, the sessions of the DZL DWSG Artificial Intelligence & Digital Tools feature two speakers from different subtopic groups (omics, imaging, clinical, and multi-modal). Each session includes one talk on early-stage challenges and another on classical science topics.

Multiscale multiomics: dissecting lung diseases from the bench to the beside.
The five German Centers for Health Research (DZG) represented in Lower Saxony plan to jointly organize a DZG Regional Day for the first time in 2026. Thanks to its strong biomedical research landscape, Lower Saxony is represented in five of the eight DZGs, which focus on infection research (DZIF), neurodegenerative diseases (DZNE), cardiovascular research (DZHK), lung research (DZL), and child and adolescent health (DZKJ).
