TLRC Researcher, Dr. Mark Wielpütz, received an award for the Best Scientific Paper Presentation 2014 at the European Congress of Radiology (ERC) Meeting.
Dr. Mark Wielpütz (TLRC Heidelberg), leader of the junior research group “Structural and Functional Imaging” within the German Center for Lung Research (DZL), was awarded Best Scientific Paper Presentation Award 2014 within the topic "Chest" from the European Congress of Radiology.
His presentation "Early cystic fibrosis lung disease: monitoring changes in structure and perfusion and response to therapy with MRI" was selected by the subcommittee chairman, based on the evaluation of the subcommittee, session moderators and session participants. The selection criteria included scientific content, quality of presentation and overall impression of the performance. The meeting took place in Vienna, Austria from March 6 – 10, 2014.
