The rapid spreading of the novel coronavirus SARS-COV-2 in Germany and all over the world also affects the work of the German Center for Lung Research (DZL).
The country has been in crisis mode for six months now and the government has implemented drastic measures to slow down further spreading of the virus. Researchers and clini-cians are working at full speed on the development of therapies and vaccines. Within a very short period of time, the DZL has also initiated several projects ranging from fundamental research to the treatment of patients with the lung disease Covid-19.
