Enriched blood IgG sialylation attenuates IgG-mediated and IgG-controlled-IgE-mediated allergic reactions

Murine blood IgG1, but not IgG2a, sialylation levels attenuate IgG-mediated and IgG-controlled IgE-mediated allergic reactions by enhancing the expression of the IgG inhibitory Fcgamma receptor IIB on immune cells, accordingly, human blood IgG sialylation levels correlate with FcgammaRIIB expression.
