A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, multicenter trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of 2 doses of buloxibutid over 52 weeks in people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

In a phase 2a open-label trial, buloxibutid (C21) stabilized and improved lung function as measured by forced vital capacity (FVC) over a 36-week period in people with IPF. This finding warrants further investigation in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 2b trial.
