A Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Parallel-Group, 52-week Pivotal Study to Assess the Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability of Dupilumab in Patients with Moderate-to-severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) with Type 2 Inflammation (BOREAS)

This study is designed to investigate the effi-cacy (e. g., lung function, prevention of mo-derate and severe exacerbations, symptom control) and safety of dupilumab (300 mg, subcutaneous, q2w) over one year in patients with Type 2 inflammation in addition to their standard of care treatment.
