The company compiled an annual list of \"Highly Cited Researchers.\" The current ranking includes 6,602 researchers from more than 70 countries and regions. In a country comparison, Germany ranks fifth with 331 \"Highly Cited Researchers\" in 2021, behind the U.S., the U.K., China, and Australia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clarivate determines annually how frequently scientific publications have been cited in the last ten years.
