The DZL Board appoints individuals from each of the DZL disease areas to the Patient Advisory Board, who are committed to advocating for the interests of those affected. The Patient Advisory Board is available to assist DZL researchers, if needed, in planning clinical, patient-related research projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"712\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/dzl.de\/en\/news\/dzl-patient-advocacy-board-launches-with-a-successful-inaugural-meeting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inaugural meeting of the Patient Advisory Board<\/a> with the DZL Board and other DZL representatives took place in April 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The members of\u00a0 the DZL Patient Advocacy Board are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frank Bernhardt<\/li>\n<li>Heike Gantke<\/li>\n<li>Dr. med.
