There are overlaps between the lung diseases investigated at the DZL in terms of the mechanisms underlying these conditions. Following an integrative research approach, our DZL scientists study the dynamic relationships between three mechanisms:<\/p>\n

Research is focused on eight Disease Areas. The entire \u201cbench-to-bedside\u201d translational research chain is applied in each of these areas. The aim is to introduce research findings and insights into clinical practice as quickly as possible (\u201ctranslation\u201d<\/a>).
