Visits to non-DZL labs or participation in workshops within Europe are also supported if certain criteria are met.<\/p>\n<h3>The mobility grant program aims to:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>strengthen the research capacity at DZL sites by facilitating training and skills transfer<\/li>\n<li>establish and\/or enhance long-term research collaborations<\/li>\n<li>provide essential training for the career development of DZL Academy Fellows<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What actions are supported?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>visits to DZL research groups for training in specific techniques or for scientific exchange<\/li>\n<li>visits to non-DZL labs for training purposes if the training cannot be provided by a DZL lab<\/li>\n<li>participation in courses and workshops provided by non-commercial entities on topics pertinent to DZL projects, e.g. summer or winter schools within Europe (participation in overseas workshops will only be considered in exceptional cases)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What is the Program\u2019s value and tenure?<\/h3>\n<p>DZL Mobility Grants offer financial support for travel and subsistence costs for short-term visits. Applicants can request up to \u20ac3.000 in funding. The mobility grant program accepts applications throughout the year, but individuals are eligible to apply only once every two years.<\/p>\n<h3>What is the application process?<\/h3>\n<p>Application documents must be submitted via e-mail to the DZL Academy Mobility Grant coordinator J\u00f6rn Bullwinkel (<a href=\"mailto:j.bullwinkel@lungenclinic.de\">j.bullwinkel@lungenclinic.de<\/a>) as single pdf file.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are reviewed by the DZL Academy Board. Confirmation\/rejection is provided within 4 weeks after application.<\/p>\n<h3>Application documents<\/h3>\n<p>To apply for a DZL Mobility Grant, four documents are required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application form: A brief outline of the type and purpose of training requested in the context of the overall project, including estimated costs for travel and subsistence.
